The APPBG is formed and legally associated by producers from provinces such as El Oro, Guayas and Azuay. Producers are also partners of local farmers; actively participating on leadership and enterprise performance; having a close commercial and organizative relationship.

The APPBG shares holders producers quality and organization policies. The operational Area is as follows: Unidad de comercio exterior (The Foreign Trade Unit) supervises the quality of the fruit to be exported. PROGRAMA DE MEJORAMIENTO SOCIAL y AMBIENTAL (Social and Environmental Improvement Program) follows up the achievement of social and Environmental standards, related to the fair trade certification granted by the FLO.
