APPBG is a banana exporter enterprise different from others in Ecuador; its associated producers grow and export banana according to social and environmental standards it provides fresh, conventional fruit (banana); organic banana and baby banana), and banana purée (conventional and organic) to European and American markets through its exporters.
The APPBG exports its products with the FLO certification, accessing to fair trade markets. The organization beholds Organic, Euregap and FDA certificates. |

The Fair trade market was created to improve the producers' position within developing countries, creating a background which allows a market with favourable conditions, and establishing fair trade standards FLO members encourage industries and consumers to both support more equitable trade and purchase the products.
